469971 2006-07-11 01:34:00 Hmmmm. And what happened to good old Mozilla? Doesn't even rate a mention?

Does this mean I'm the only one using it or do you lump them in with Firefox users?

And trying to post this as a comment gave me:
"An error occurred
You must define a Comment Pending template. "

I think they lumped it in with Crazy browser :)

469973 2006-07-11 02:58:00 I use netscape 8.1, but then again, ANYTHING is better than MS IE SolMiester (139)
469974 2006-07-11 03:09:00 Yes, the Nielsen categories are pretty broad.
They don't even differentiate between beta 1 and beta two of Crazy Browser 3 (http://www.crazybrowser.com/).

469975 2006-07-11 06:26:00 Hmm ... the blog comment is having a Movable Type issue and wants me to define a Comment Pending template ... :illogical

Anyway - Go Firefox! :D

469976 2006-07-11 06:54:00 it will be interesting to know what strings they are useing to identify the different browsers as quite a few fake the browser ID and a few hardcore people edit the usual 'fake' strings (which aren't really that fake) so its totally fake. tweak'e (69)
469977 2006-07-11 09:55:00 I tried Firefox and don't use it any more. Have not tried any version of Firefox for around 4 months.

That is just me though. For all the people that want it, need it or like it then go for it.

469979 2006-07-13 09:38:00 Those stats would be expected. However on a more technology focussed forum I manage the percentages show a lot less use of IE:

Firefox - 46%
IE - 39%
Opera - 7%
Mozilla - 2%

I also guess that IE comes second only because it's frequently the only browser available to users in their work environment.
