469837 2006-07-10 09:51:00 HI, i want to backup some files to the DVD, but after i did it, i got a .NBF type of document on DVD, and i can't open it. please help how should i do that? Thanks. kale (10630)
469838 2006-07-10 11:38:00 NBF appears to be the file archive format of "Backup NOW". It must of compressed the backup file in its native format. Does the manual suggest you can use the utility to view the archived files? Were you wanting to extract an individual file from the backup? Jen (38)
469839 2006-07-10 12:07:00 Yes, i want to view the individual files.
I burnt the files directly onto the DVD by using the burner software, which is originally installed on my computer.

469840 2006-07-10 19:35:00 Does the manual of that program suggest that you can view that archive using its native file viewer? Otherwise I guess you cannot because of the propriety file format it uses. Jen (38)
469841 2006-07-11 00:11:00 Have a look at

www.ntius.com

Click "See other NTI Products" Bottom right.
Click Tab "Backup Solutions", as suggested by Jen does this list the programme you have installed?
If you have no manual look at first page top right . See there also for other info.

469842 2006-07-11 06:45:00 I've downloaded the manual for the product NTI Backup NOW! 4.0 which I am presuming is the product you have? It tells you how to restore a single file from a saved archive.

You can find the manual here (www.ntius.com). On page 18 you will see a section on "Restoring files using find files".
