469801 2006-07-10 03:48:00 Not that German Gutenberg, of course, but the beloved http://www.gutenberg.org , where you can find tons of free audio books (not illegal ones) and ebooks. I have no problem pinging it, but Firefox laments that it is taking too long to respond and load. Does anyone have the same issue as me at this moment? I am on Xtra dial-up - hope it is not discriminating against those on dial-up. ;)

Cheers :)

I thought you were trying to channel that old guy who invented the printing press...whew!

I get a lot of time-outs and drops for most sites that are located on the other side of the time-space-continuim...like US to NZ etc. Maybe it's just because youse guys are all upside down and the electrons are vertically polorized.

469805 2006-07-10 04:49:00 Can't you go to one of the mirror sites? There used to be a lot around. Try "gutenberg mirror" to Google. Graham L (2)
469806 2006-07-10 10:02:00 It's online now. :D
