| 470354 | 2006-07-12 11:04:00 | Hi, I was searching for a new monitor as my 17" CRT one failed last weekend & I decided to get an LCD type. After a decent amount of research (including this forum) the basic gist was to see it going before spending my hard-earned coin. The first one I rang was www.xtremesystems.co.nz because they had a special on the Samsung 940B which I was very interested in. I asked if I could view it going & the response was I don't have enough room to connect it to a system. If this is the pathetic level of support I could expect from the salesman looking, supposedly, to make a sale; what could I expect if I needed some real backup service. I just said, "you've just lost a sale: bye." What would you do? PS. I eventually bought the 17" model (740B) to save myself the effort of redesigning the enclosed desk as the Samsung's homepage gave the wrong width dimension. Seems very nice as I write, except maybe some lag on playing Richard Burns Rally. But it may just be me. And the crew at www.nfc.co.nz were great. |
