| 470232 | 2006-07-12 02:27:00 | Hi there guys and girls, I have just bought a new Western Digital 160g hard drive. I have tried to install it but to no avail. When I go into the BIOS it shows, but when I boot into windows it says that a second hard drive is installed but it wont show in explorer. I have check device manager and there it is. Stupid stupid computer. Is there another way of confirming that there is no problem with the hard drive. Oh also I have tried changing the jumper settings on the drive as well. No good. Let me know your thoughts Cheers Tim |
