I took the machine to a tech to replace the power supply, but it turned out to be capacitors that had failed. 5 of them had juice oozing out of them. I had to replace m'board and CPU. Evidently, some time ago some m'board makers tried to use cheap caps that had bad electrolyte and this is the legacy. |
