470839 2006-07-14 11:13:00 Hi there,
I have a Pentium D 2.8ghz, 1GB Ram, ASUS P5ND2-SLI motherboard, Gigabyte 7800-GT Videocard.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed, but my computer crashes about 2-10 minutes max into anything that uses 3D graphics and even DVDs. I get a blue screen of death or the computer resets or just locks up every time. I bought the system in January and it worked fine. I tried rolling back the drivers for the video card but that didn't work. If anyone has any tips, I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.

470840 2006-07-14 20:15:00 Can you be more specific... when you say 3D do you mean games or 3D applications etc.

In any case make sure you have the latest patches and updates for any games or other software apps you are using. Have a read of the release notes to see if there are any unresolved issues in the new driver. This may point you to the culprit.

Cheers

470841 2006-07-14 20:21:00 Anything 3D. Every game. Even 3DMark. I have the latest drivers from Nvidia. I had a look at the release notes but could not find anything that seemed like a suspect. I tried rolling back too, but that did nothing. ZonerDude (9419)

Does the BSOD mention a specific file?
