471269 2006-07-16 05:32:00 I can not get my head set/mike to work properly
I have a black and a pink plug from the phones. They will not work from the front sockets. I can get sound but it is disorted.

On the back of the box I have two rows of three sockets.
On top a blue, black and a pink one.
below them is pink green and blue.
which two should I use.?
Should I need any software added?

The sockets are labelled in chinese or japanese. Lot of help.
Sound effects manager just sticks a red cross or two alongsie diagram and says wrong plugs regardless or where I plug in.

I do not have speakers plugged in

What do I do mext. I'm tempted to see how far I can throw the things

471270 2006-07-16 05:54:00 Try the pink (mic) plug in the lower pink socket, and the black plug (earpiece) in the lower green socket. I think those are the standard colours on a sound card. That's what works on mine. rumpty (2863)
471271 2006-07-16 06:01:00 I'm almost afraid to ask this Jack, but have you RTFM's? Whatever came with your headset, your sound card and your motherboard as well if appropriate.

Plugging in a headset and microphone is not rocket science, so keep it simple.

Cheers
