| 471590 | 2006-07-17 16:20:00 | I have a Gateway that has the D915gagl-g1. I want to upgrade my memory from 256mb to 4gb. I know I need DDR PC3200 400Mhz NON-ECC unbuffered. Someone asked me if it were high density or low density. I called Gateway support and they didn't know the answer. | msorgen (10756) | ||

Far be it from me to question your motives but 4GB is nothing short of overkill for a desktop PC. What sort of RAM do you have installed now? It may be wise to purchase the same brand. How many RAM slots does it have? I would assume you'd get high density because if there are 4 slots you'd need 4 1GB sticks, which to me indicates high density RAM. I could be wrong though.
