| 471766 | 2006-07-18 10:57:00 | Laptop cannot access internet over home network, second PC no problem. Returns error message "The page cannot be displayed". This is a recent development as access has been fine for 18 months. I'm thinking it's an automatic upgrade that changed something What does work - Laptop on WIFI, full network access including shared folders and printer. - Second PC full network access - Second PC full internet access Things tried; - Laptop on WIFI and cat5 - IE Ver6.0 and Opera Ver8.02 - Windows firewall On and Off Laptop specs - Windows XP Home Ed, 2002, SP2 - Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2006 Ver14.10 - IE Ver6.0 ADSL Router specs - DLink DSL-G604 Second PC specs - Windows XP Pro Ed, 2002, SP2 - AVG Anti-Virus Free Ed, Ver7.1 |
