472264 2006-07-20 10:22:00 Hi, Vlookup and Hlookup can only use one criteria but using a combination of Index and Match allows you to use multiple criteria. See support.microsoft.com

472265 2006-07-21 06:06:00 Thanks for your help, I used a get around solution in the end. I concatenated the two cells to one for the look up value and added a extra column to the data to look up which I concaatenated the two columns in for the lookup value. I works but a long way round to get a result, but less it worked.

Once again thanks for your help the link was helpful to.
