472238 2006-07-20 03:06:00 My friend has a problem where if he has drivers installed for both his video card (Radeon X700) and his onboard SATA (Gigabyte K8 something nforce2 mobo), his comp bluescreens all the time. The crash analysis from Microsoft says it is his video card causing it.

He has the latest drivers for all his hardware, but his copy of XP is pirated & very out of date - no service packs.

472239 2006-07-20 03:09:00 Did the crash analysis from Microsoft mention that his copy of XP is pirated? Or will they say nothing until he be hears someone hammering on his door ar 4 a.m.? Graham L (2)
472240 2006-07-20 03:10:00 Sorry, cant help people with pirate software..........LOL

He will have to manually assign irq's etc for offending hardware, maybe sp2 has better system device controllers?!....
