471969 2006-07-19 05:14:00 I just went to turn on my PC and nothing happens, its just dead.
So I have had a look inside to see what gives, checked the start button wires and they were firmly seated, tested another hardrive in it, nope still nothing.
When i press the start button the light on the mobo lights up, but i am not sure if it was a the light was stronger than that before or not.
Mobo is only 4 months old, hardrive about the same, pent 4 cpu is about 12 months old.
The electrical box come with the PC case, which i have only had for roughly 4 months or so.

The only thing i have done differant today then any other normal day, was, i turned off all the power from the power switches on the wall, it was going fine before that .
Any ideas guys ?
thanks

471970 2006-07-19 05:24:00 Try turning the switch on the PSU off and on. :D It might have some odd startup sequencing which needs to be reset . Obviously the standby 5V part of it is OK. Graham L (2)
