471839 2006-09-15 00:29:00 Ravage, you say the Ram was OK on your when tested on another computer. For info Grandson just updated memory on a similar age computer, one fairly new stick and one brand new, but it took about 5 attempts with various beeps and blank screens before my grandson used what I thought was excessive force with the motherboard flexing to get the second stick to seat. The computer had been running OK with one of the sticks in slot 1. FrankS (257)
