| 471966 | 2006-08-02 03:39:00 | I also had the port set to 25. My secure connections are also set at 'no' Also in SMTP server settings make sure "Use name and password" is not ticked. If you are actually connected to Xtra and you have smtp.xtra.co.nz as the server and it still does not work then something else such as antivirus (mail scanning) or a firewall is blocking access. |

| 471968 | 2006-08-05 04:57:00 | Check your firewall and av settings. I had a similar problem and found that my av software - PC Cillin - was the culprit. I stopped it from checking outgoing emails and everything worked again. | andy (473) | ||
