i have a new set of memory and tried to install it and it just beeps. It is pc 3200 400mhz platinium corsair on a gateway d915gagl-g1 motherboard and the original and kingston still will work but not the matched pair and i did take all the other memory out and unplug the board and get every thing to re set and still the beeeeping not sure how to fix this is it a bios setting

Given the time of your post and the poor english, you may be a bit tired and have mucked things up a bit. I'd suggest double check how well you fitted the RAM stick/s, as well as all other cable/wire fittings. ;) |

Its usually because its not seated properly. Also check your MB manual in case they have to be in a certain arrangement. |

i have also reset the bios and then reboot and same thing all the time i can not get the system to recognize the new memory but i reinstall the kingstons and use the system to make posts and it runs just like usual not sure what else to try oh one stick in each slot one at atime it still will not recog it either |
