472908 2006-07-23 02:39:00 My friend just got gasp wireless internet, which comes with a wireless bridge, with 1 ethernet port. when plugged into the computer's NIC, gasp say set the addresses like so:

IP Address: 203.110.29.117
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.192
Default Gateway: 203.110.29.65

DNS Server 1: 203.110.28.17
DNS Server 2: 203.110.28.18

Now my friend has 2 computers and also had a DSE XH1169 ADSL/Router from when he tried to get wired ADSL, and wants to know how to connect the bridge from gasp and the XH1169 together to give lan and wireless internet to both his computers.

Is this possible, and if so, how??

I'm thinking anything I need to do will be here (www.imagef1.net.nz), but I'm not sure what to set to what....

472909 2006-07-23 12:52:00 You need a broadband router (no modem). The 1169 is a modem/router. linw (53)

Oh well, better tell him to get something else.
