Hi, I was reading a page where there was a problem uninstalling AVG free from Grisoft. I am having the same problem, I followed what he was advised downloading jv16 power tools to get rid of AVG but even this cannot. I get a failed message when I try to uninstall from add and remove "Initialization of the laungage file C:\ProgramFiles\Grisoft\AVGFree\setup.ins" setup general failure. Please can anybody help. I am uninstalling because I downloaded a critical update, that caused my comp to keep crashing. |

Have you tried to reinstall the software then uninstall it? Sometimes it works for I would assume to be many reasons. |

Thank you to the people who replied. I downloaded JV16 power tools and managed to delete it from add & remove. Although it still shows AVG when I run ewido and defender, at least my computer has stopped crashing. Jose342 :thumbs: |
