472946 2006-07-23 08:04:00 Hi,

Does anybody know if RAM from an old pentium 2 server can be used in a Pentium 3 desktop computer?

The details of the RAM are as follows:
IBM 9934 128MB
16MX72 E
11M16735BBF-60T
ASSEMBLED IN ITALY

HYMDC04128
OEM#PCSMA-AE
B#A000222

Thanks
Michael

Is it a 72 pin SIMM? Or does the 16MX21 mean 72 bits wide (which would mean that it's parity memory). If it's a 72 pin SIMM, it would appear to be 60 ns which is not considered all that fast these days.
