472890 2006-07-22 23:54:00 Hi,

I ran Symantec's online security weakness thinge and it came back with some port weaknesses. I was just wondering if someone has some good freeware software that can block the ports?

Thanks,

~Matt :-)

472892 2006-07-23 00:55:00 Yep, I've got Zone Alarm free edition but how do I customize it - to like block the certain ports?

472894 2006-07-23 01:07:00 Right-click the ZA icon in the Task Notification area, select Restore Zonealarm Control Centre. Click on the Firewall tab on the left-hand side. Under Internet Zone Activity move the slider to High. Then re-test at Symantec's site or www.grc.com. Greg (193)
472895 2006-07-23 01:25:00 Today my trial of Zone Alarm Pro just finished and now I don't think its running when every I try to open it from the start menu it just puts up a screen saying its expired and then I click on revert to Zone Alarm it puts up a screen with bars and then it just all vanishes and it isn't in the taskbar.

I'm not too sure what ports it said was open. I can run it again if you want.

472898 2006-07-23 07:01:00 It says that there are like no ports that are open or something on that other test site.
