The Boss has downloaded a few colour pics of the Net. The problem, a lot of them are thumbnails, ans when you enlarge them, the pixels obviously enlarge as well, with the result that you end up with a fuzzy piccie. Is there any way that one can open it up, enlarge them and retain the clarity?

472876 2006-07-22 22:03:00 You can try but you're better off looking for a pic with more pixels. Of course on TV programs like CSI they can interpolate a tiny clip of a number plate AND get to read all the numbers, or my favourite, enlarge a shot of someone's eye pupil and see a reflection of the photographer. There is very little you can do to low resolution images to make them larger without pixelated the image. If you clicked on the thumbnail on the website, did it open up to a larger image? If so, you could save that image. Do remember than many images are copyrighted so if want to use it commercially then you will need to contact the owner of the image to get permission. :)

Edit: Just realised when you said "The Boss" I thought you meant a work boss, but I think you are referring to the wife and her use of the images? :p
