472713 2006-07-24 01:34:00 Hi CaptinMoor, don't know if i can be of much assistance, however as you have had no replys...

I have the Sanyo 5600, "however" this has the 1GB mem card, which also came packaged with the usb cord etc... so it is detected as a removable drive.

I believe the Sanyo 7500 has the internal memory 70mb??

From your post i get the impression that your didn't get any software with the usb cord you brought. When looking into the data transfer side of my phone, the most commonly used software in NZ for the Sanyos appears to be

Susteen Datapilot with a version for NZ phones only (http://www.datapilot.co.nz/)

With no freeware i could find that would be compatible, BitPim have freeware, however neither mine, nor yours appear to be supported as yet unfortunately.

Hopefully somebody else may be able to elaborate if they have the same phone as yours, however i am relatively sure, may be wrong :), that you will need to use/buy something like "Susteens Datapilot". Also note that you will need the NZ version

Quote:
Due to differences in Hardware and Software between the US and New Zealand CDMA handsets, the US version of DataPilot® software will not work with Telecom handsets purchased in New Zealand. This has required a New Zealand only release of the DataPilot® software (version 1.3.0)

**I just went through a similar thing with my nephews phone, trying to find suitable drivers/sofware, was lucky enough to find some freeware for his older Motorola.
