473590 2006-07-26 03:14:00 Yeah Yeah Yeah I know Notrons Sux. Just thought that I would get that out of the way before I get a million posts saying get ride of Nortons.

Please only respond with helpfull hints.

I have a friend that has Nortons Internet Security 2005, yesterday they had a problem with there live updates. Error code LU1845. We resolved this issue by speaking to a lovely man from Banglor. Removed the updates folder and let nortons download the updates again. Cool That worked. But how ever along with this problem I cannot get the intrustion detection to come back. It has gone pale gray and turned off. No matter what I do I can not get it to turn on again. This problems is not a result of removing the updates folder as it was causing problems before hand.

Has anyone had this problem before, or does anyone know how this can be resolved.

Thanks for your help.

Tim
