473196 2006-07-24 23:12:00 Hey all,

I am having continual problems, with my PC, and and not entirely sure where the problem resides.

I am wanting to look at the .DMP files that Windows creates on system crashes, and wondering if anyone has a tutorial or knowledge about how to view these files.

I have installed the MS Debugging tool for Windows, and the symbols sets, but am now at a loss as to how to make it all seem readable.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

473197 2006-07-25 02:35:00 Well tell us what problems exactly. Is it crashing? Blue screens? Any STOP errors? If so, what? pctek (84)
473198 2006-07-25 03:21:00 I am getting

STOP ERROR

BAD POOL( OR POLL) CALLING .

I believe it is memory related, but thought an interrogation of the DMP files may lead me somewhere .

I send the error report of the MS, and it either comes back with Video Driver or Device Driver .

I have ran MEMTEST and it does not report a problem though .

This has been ongoing for about six months now, and is one of those intermittent problems that annoy the **** out of me .

0x000000C2: BAD_POOL_CALLER

A kernel-mode process or driver incorrectly attempted to perform memory operations. Typically, a faulty driver or buggy software causes this.

Waste of time clicking that Send Error Report button.
