| 473189 | 2006-07-24 18:32:00 | Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me. Im having alot of problems with my pc recently, besicaly what happens is i can use my pc for a certain amount of time (roughly a few hours sometimes less) until it comes under some serious slow down and ultimately cuts off. Now i keep an eye on the cpu usage and its up and down like god knows what. It can be 4% one second and then 88% another without me even doing anything to it such as opening applications. I have noticed that msn likes to take up alot of cpu usage at times and is around 80k when only having like 2 windows open :S It might not have anything to do with the cpu usage but its becoming a consistant problem and is realy annoying!!! Another thing, iv checked the fans in the system and all of them stil work (3 of them, one on the graphics card), so it cant be tht. Can anyone help me with this problem? Any help at all would be appreciated thanks alot Mozza Ps bare in mind im a pc newbie |
