| 473070 | 2006-07-24 02:27:00 | Question for the excel gurus: Like the subject says, is there a way to link the title of a chart to the name of a workbook or sheet name? Even linking to the file name would work. Thanks in advance |

| 473071 | 2006-07-24 08:26:00 | Hi, click in the title within the chart (if you dont have one then add one first) then click in the formula bar then enter =Sheet1!E1 where cell E1 on Sheet1 contains the name you want to appear for the title. In this example you can type in the filename and or sheetname as required into E1. If you want a formula to return the sheet or file names automatically for E1 then download the free MoreFunc addin from xcell05.free.fr regards, Graham |
