1405894 2015-08-05 01:27:00 I am having trouble with Imation DVDs. I have tried to save ISOs, the latest being WIN10 ISO and when trying to verify the download I am told that verify did not work due to an error on the disk. Twice yesterday I tried ISOs for other programs with the same result.

Obviously I am concerned. Is it because there is a problem with my DVD device, a software problem and least likely, it doesn't really matter?

1405895 2015-08-05 02:02:00 Have you tried ImgBurn? http://www.imgburn.com/

Gives plenty of options for Burn speed, could be a problem with Media used as you can get a bad batch

1405897 2015-08-05 02:24:00 Ah ha Speedy. I have DVD+RW. I assume that this makes a difference? Bryan (147)

Thats all a bit ambigious
Are you trying to burn ISO's, 'download' ISO's from the internet, create an ISO, just verify an ISO that you downloaded ?

If its an issue veryfying a image you burnt, it could be bad/incompatible DVD media, faulty DVD Writer, software issue , all of the above :-)
No simple answer, its a matter of elimination of possible causes.

Is the media RW ? Rewritable DVD blanks can cause some issues with some writers & some software
Try imageburn, as mentioned above.Just be carefull that it doesnt install other spyware/malware .

1405899 2015-08-05 02:33:00 RW's will make a diff. Most blank dvd's dont like being written over more than once. Thats why you should use a + or - blank

Or use rufus and a flash drive. A lot easier. At least you can format it after you use it / install Windows
