1394556 2015-02-19 08:15:00 Well, if I could combine a FPS game with any one of those ads with the guy screaching about the vacuum cleaner and picking up billiard balls with it, or any ad with Suzanne Paul, and just shoot till the pair of them are confetti, then that would be kinda satisfying.

I reckon I could sell that. Any poor bugger who has sat through an infomercial will sympathise.

1394557 2015-02-19 08:43:00 Fun indeed, but I expect that could be even worse - you'd look forward to seeing the ads to get your game on... and then they'd have you right where they want you. Agent_24 (57)
1394558 2015-02-19 08:45:00 Many years ago , my father announced that the the best thing that could be done to TV was to arrange for the studio to be made aware every time a TV was turned off. (Changing the channel was not an option then, you only got one and only for part of the day. )
Things are different now, owning a TV is like buying a high tech sign saying "Kick me".

Oh the joys of having the ability to record TV, play the show you want, fast forward through the ads, takes a few seconds, watch next section of show :)

1394560 2015-02-19 23:18:00 I find it hard to believe that these stupid adverts actually sell anything when they annoy viewers so much, I make a point of not buying anything which is advertised on TV.
The Spark advert has its amusing side "keeps on starting!" If it didn't stop all the time it wouldn't have to keep on starting. Then there are those showing laptops being used on a Duvet, or even worse on the beach, and slamming the lid down.
