Who actually said that only whites are blocked from the beach, anybody?..ever?.. there will be some pale faces at that beach that day Remember there are no true maori, so race based arguements cant apply :) yep its tribe based -- So along those lines: Ngāti Whātua is a Māori iwi (tribe) of New Zealand. It is a confederation of hapū (subtribes) interconnected both by ancestry and by association over time. The four hapū are Te Uri-o-Hau, Te Roroa, Te Taoū, and Ngāti Whātua-o-Ōrākei. What'ya reckon the chance is a non Maori, would be allowed into the"tribe" ? Not much I suspect. The event has already been postponed once due to bad weather at the time. |
