Plugged in a usb Drive with pro, ran it via that and it went as expected.

1405817 2015-08-09 10:21:00 So overall not a bad experience with Win10 at this stage. I haven't encountered a lot of issues in terms of things not working at all.

One hiccup I did have was with my EndNote X7.3.1 software. I had an unexplained series of "crashes" which resulted in me having to use task manager to kill the application.
Despite this though MS Word did "recover" without a problem, when presented with the options "Wait for the application to close" and "Force the application to close" I selected the former and Word recovered within a few seconds.
I could be wrong but it seems as if Win10 is a little more "forgiving" in terms of application hangs/interrups etc.

Another observation is that DX12 or the Win10 GeForce drivers need more work.
Previously on my 8.1 install I could run "The Golf Club" at full res (1920x1080) with the high detail settings and there would be no issues.
Now when I run it at the same settings there is a bit of "lag" almost a stutter in the frame rate. So I lowered the detail settings to "medium" and kept the res at 1920x1080 and voila back to being smooth again.
I can't be sure what the issue is... it might be the new GeForce driver or DX12, I can't compare these to my previous install as neither of these were installed on my Win8.1.

Guess I'll have to wait for the next set of updates to see if things improve.

Still at this point no major complaints about Microsoft's new OS, long may it continue!!!

Cheers,
