Cancel the Treaty or continue the Maori Wars :) If the Bay is part owned by the tribe: * Does a proportion of the rates for this area go to the Tribe? * Does the Tribe contribute towards public works in this area? * Does the Tribe pay income tax? |

No huge outcry here . :-) Or a local yacht club being allowed to close road access around a popular Nth Shore beach for the weekend . What about beaches closed for filming . If its once a year, whats the big deal ? Dont you think we all owe them a bit of slack after we stole 90% of their land off them ? |

None of the arguments you put forward are Race Based . What we are seeing in the closing of the beach to Non-Maori is first class racism, nothing less . As I've already pointed out if the matter was reversed there would be hell to play with calls to the United Nations . Of course One Way Racism and Separatism is present government policy . |

Is it raced based, or tribe based. (Its 'tribe' based) . Who actually said that only whites are blocked from the beach, anybody?..ever?.. there will be some pale faces at that beach that day Remember there are no true maori, so race based arguements cant apply :) |
