| 1394623 | 2015-02-19 03:24:00 | Just a heads up to any of you who still have Paradise email accounts. This morning my emails refused to send, showing a smtp error. I got really good service from the Vodafone techie - it seems as though they are directing outgoing Paradise emails through clear.net, so it is necessary to adjust your smtp settings. In my case I had to make two changes: 1. in email account settings, change smtp.paradise.net.nz to smtp.clear.net.nz. 2. change your smtp login_name from login_name@paradise.net.nz as follows: insert /p before your login_name (no spaces), and remove "@paradise.net.nz". Hope that saves someone from having to phone the help desk. |
