1394312 2015-02-12 23:31:00 Do you observe Valentine's Day, or do you, like me, think it a load of American rubbish?:horrified

Why would you want a day to tell your loved one how much you care? Surely you would say that almost every day?

And, of course, the retailers make a killing selling all sorts of junk to the gullible.:groan:

Let's start a movement: Turn your back on Valentine's Day - tell your sweetheart of your love all the time, not just once a year.

;) Know that feeling -- In fact last week I was told in no uncertain terms if I got her anything I would get it thrown right back ---- So I'm gonna get her some beers :D

I a-wait for the returns (more than likely empty )

1394316 2015-02-13 00:50:00 All depends on how much you love your partner and whether they normally expect something.

I never miss the chance to surprise my SO. She knows i love her very much but i think she would be disappointed if she didnt receive something.

Most ladies love to feel special and receive something on VD.. () some dont but not many.

1394319 2015-02-13 04:52:00 Every Valentines Day, Birthday, Mother's Day and at Christmas, I make a special card for Mrs T. We don't exchange gifts (except on rare occasions) because we have enough stuff around the house already, so the personalised card is in lieu of loot and means a lot more to Mrs T than something that I might have picked up at the Stationery store then scribbled a few words in it. She is not so crash hot on computers or Publisher, so she usually buys one for me. She always bulk buys Cards at the 'after the event' sales, so costs are negligible.

If you think your partner doesn't warrant a Valentines Day card, best you think again, you'll have 365 days to regret the omission. :groan:

Cheers
