| 474251 | 2006-07-28 03:25:00 | Hi there Whenever I open up a Excel workbook, I get this warning, myfile.xls should be opened as Read Only unless you need to save changes to it. Open as Read only. The File, Properties, General show only the Archive box ticked. The File has a number of Macros on the sheet which I created an these are unaltered. Any ides where to start getting rid of this annoyance ? Thanks................John in Mosgiel. |

Then do a file -> save as and then in the dialog box that opens go to tools -> general options and then unselect 'read only recommended' and select ok. Choose the folder where to save the file and voila you are sorted. |
