| 474206 | 2006-07-28 00:36:00 | Is it possible to set a range that includes discontinuous sets of cells, e.g. Range is A1:c1, b2:d2,c3:e3? Secondly, can a range include cells on different worksheets (within a single workbook)? Yes, I have tried setting such ranges, but I'm not sure that they are working reliably. |

Hi The answer to the first question is yes. The way to test this is to create a new formula in another cell using something like : =Sum(MyRange) I can't answer the 2nd question but I couldn't get multi-tab cells into one range in my test. However, I can reference a named range from tab 1 on tab 2 by using the same formula as above. That may be a way around it. HTH, Andrew |
