474669 2006-07-30 00:05:00 Have u installed all of the drivers as well as the mobo drivers??

What version of Windows have u got?

Have you got some kind of card reader for the camera card? Or are you connecting the camera to USB and putting the card in the slot on the camera, to see whats on it?

474671 2006-07-30 01:29:00 I would install the mobo drivers as well, if there are any.

Go to the mobo manufacturer's site. Do a search for the model, and see if there are any mobo drivers.

474672 2006-07-30 02:20:00 ok but where do i look to find out what brand it is?? shione83 (7126)
474673 2006-07-30 02:39:00 Try this (www.kellys-korner-xp.com) (or right mouse on this and save it, then double click on it

From here (www.kellys-korner-xp.com) to see if this fixes the autorun prob.

If you click on the reg link above copy the text to notepad and save it as a .reg file, then double click on it to put it in the registry.

Well you could use something like Everest Home if its still around. That'll tell u what it is.

Go into device manager. Is anything there showing a ?

474674 2006-07-30 14:30:00 A wee note about "where to find out brands" -

(That is, useful free programs which can analyse & name the components inside your computer)

Speedy mentioned Everest Home - .
Although Lavalys discontinued support for this in March, Everest Home Edition 2.20 can still be downloaded from sites like MajorGeeks & PCWorld.com.
And there's an online forum still giving user support.

Belarc Adviser is less comprehensive, but uses less space & is adequate for what most people need to know.
(Those who already have it may be interested to learn there's an update available - 11 July)

When I discovered Belarc, I wished that someone had told me about it when I first got a computer. It would've saved me from a lot of wondering...

So I hope this helps somebody else to learn about their innards.
