474577 2006-07-29 08:23:00 I have just installed Kerio Personal Firewall. Since then I can't use my printer ie is I can't print because Kerio seems to be blocking it. How do I know that? I turned Kerio off and the printer worked. How do I set Kerio to accept the printer rather than block it? Thanks smurf (6545)

474579 2006-07-29 22:32:00 Thanks you for your reply Kjaaka. I am operating in basic mode. When I went to the Network Security as you indicated Microsoft files and printer is already ticked in both the Trusted and Internet columns (out) but X in the (in columns). However, by trial and error, I find I can get the printer to work when I uncheck the Enable the Network security module box at the top of that page. Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks smurf (6545)
474580 2006-07-29 22:41:00 Uhm, so the printer is working now? I haven't personally tried out Kerio yet, so I can't help you much with respect to this matter.

Cheers :)

If you open up Kerio do you have "Enable Application Behaviour Blocking" ticked ?

Thanks for your reply.
Perhaps you inadvertently told Kerio not to allow the printer to do whatever and ticked the box that says to remember for future occasions. When there is a stuff up I think about things that I might have done, because they are part of the equation. Just a thought. There must be a way to check what you have blocked yourself. Would have a look now as to how one checks this but Mrs Misty wants me upstairs.
