| 474369 | 2006-07-28 08:45:00 | From a slipstreamed Windows 2000 CD?? If so, what folder/file would I go into / run? I havent got the separate SP4 install file, only a CD thats got SP4 on a slipstreamed CD. I cant reinstall without reformatting, since the system has SP1 on it. I just want to update it to SP4. And I dont want to format it, since its not my notebook. I'm fixing it for someone Any info welcome :) |

| 474371 | 2006-07-28 08:54:00 | Well, since I'm on dialup and the file is round 129mb, and its nearly 8 pm. I do want to go to bed tonight, and dont want to leave this on. |

| 474372 | 2006-07-28 08:55:00 | The complete SP4 can be downloaded here (129MB): www.softwarepatch.com The download from MS seems to be only a 600KB file which decides what needs to be downloaded online, not the full package. |

| 474374 | 2006-07-28 08:58:00 | That is a pretty good reason not to download it. Have you hunted around your computer magazines cover disks to see if one of them have it? | Jen (38) | ||

They wont come to anywhere near 129MB probably only around 15-20MB. That wouldn't be so bad. www.microsoft.com |

I thought it did, but it doesn't . So, the only way it'll get on the net, is if I connect it directly to the phoneline . Which at the mo, no can do . The flatmate is playing online canasta, and wld most probably kill me if I decide to cut her off  |
