| 474625 | 2006-07-31 11:16:00 | or i reformat and put on linux. really, teaching mum how to use a mac, and then getting it all working seamlessly with everything else would be too much effort if actually possible. i'd have to buy mac versions of all our software too i think i'll stay mainstream and keep my linux experiments to myself. oh, and stuff cropped up, would anyone recommend uninstalling bundled software that came woth the laptop to run the laptop, it all just doubles up with the windows stuff and generally makes things worse. a short while ago i was i'm having wireless issues cause windows/cmd wont do anything if another program is claiming to be taking care if it. said software was failing miserably..... so yeah, does anyone know why not to uninstall bundled crap that all doubles up on windows stuff? |
