| 474701 | 2006-08-02 23:31:00 | I have a Canon i550 which I hardly use anymore, since my brother has an i965. If your in orcland or somewhere close enough that postage is fairly cheap, you can have it for $65. It's not been used in a while so I cant give you the actual ink tank amounts. |

| 474702 | 2006-08-02 23:58:00 | Listed in order of preference; hp Ive even seen them at the supermarket for $60 I've had two HPs - the first was a 610c bought about 6 years ago - very average; expensive inks. Overall, not very impressed, so vowed not to buy another one. Then I did. HP PSC 2575. I was seduced by the 2.5inch colour screen for previewing photos from memory cards prior to printing, the option for a photo cartridge, the high resolutions for scanning, and the fast printing. And it only cost $30 more than the 610c did six years previously. But the HP software is pretty ordinary, not particularly friendly or flexible - I learned this when I used a friends Epson CX3500 (I think), who flew through the scanning of multiple photos, virtually automated. The HP scanner also added a lot of artefacts, though this has mostly been fixed with a replacement. HP customer service was good, but I don't think I'd get an HP again. This time I really mean it! Epson inks seem to be priced very competitively, (though they sell the colours individually, I believe), though if it's thirsty that kind of negates the benefit. Canons look quite good, though... |
