I have recently installed Windows Defender on a small group of networked XP machines. All seems to be running well but I notice that the automatic updates feature of XP is now disables or has to be done manually. When I got to automatic updates in Control Panel it no longer gives me the option of choosing automatic updates. Is this something I have done or just a case of Microsoft-itus..... I'd like the updates to be done automatically if possible as that will save me moving around all the pcs in the office. How do I turn auto updates on if option is greyed out?
