| 474946 | 2006-07-31 21:12:00 | i play CS source heavily, at a res of 1024x768 with eveyrthing on high, and with tripple buff, 2x AA, and that antristropic filtering, or whatever the heck that is. i get around 100FPS and higher........ I don't know what triple buffer is... But, putting it simple, AA smooths lines so they aren't jaggy. AF (antristropic filtering, no idea how to spell it)... well.. You know how if you look into the distance, and can see less and less detail on things? Games will do this to make it easier on your graphics cards. The further away something is, the less textures etc it renders. Setting a higher AF means that you see more detail in the distance. If you want better performance, turn AA and AF off. Jams is getting 100fps.... I would be turning the graphics UP then ;) |
