475244 2006-08-01 23:00:00 Anyone have problems with the buttons not responding on the mouse? The cursor moves fine. I have plugged a normal mouse into the USB port and since then the wireless mouse has been Ok. JaceKiwi (2561)

475248 2006-08-03 05:23:00 The Microsoft wireless products look good but there range is not too good, I dont sell the MS wireless stuff anymore, nearly everyone had a complaint similar to yours. Rob99 (151)

1. I was able to correct a sticky arrow by playing around with the configurations for the mouse, in the control panel

2 the latest drivers for this are intellipoint 5.5 for the mouse, and
intellitype pro 5.5 for the keyboard, both free at microsoft web site.

Uninstall the old drivers before installing new ones. If that doesn't work:

3. this system works better connected to a usb port, try this: it sounds a bit strange, but it works, I have it currently set up like this with no problems.

before proceeding check if one end of the connectors, has an adaptor which allows for a usb or ps2 connnection.

Download the latest drivers if required, or have the installation files handy.

uninstall the old drivers, through add/remove and close computer. Remove the ps2 adaptor, and plug the connector into a usb port, leave the other connector free.

restart the computer, let windows search for drivers, this should give you temporary use of the mouse. Install the latest drivers works well for me.

as always you try this at your own risk.

good luck,

robby
