2006-08-07 03:01:00 | Anybody who has Windows Media Player, could you please tell me how to put mp3 files on to a cd?? | marsurv (10929) | |
2006-08-07 04:22:00 | burning a cd has nothing to with windows media player. just burn the mp3 files stright to cd ie treat them as data files. | tweak'e (69) | |
2006-08-07 05:25:00 | marsurv, Just what sort of files do you want to "put" on a cd? You could choose mp3 data files, or audio (cda) files. The data files will only play on computer players, or some cd players capable of playing mp3's. Most dont. The audio cda files will play on home or car cd players. Depending on your OS & version of WMP, the windows media player can do both. It may be convenient as you can select the tracks from your media library to burn. Before burning, there is an option to select data cd or audio cd. If you are unsure, there is information in the WMP help. On the other hand, as has been suggested, if a data cd is required, any burning program will do that.

2006-08-08 01:04:00 | Thanks guys for your help. mp3 music files from winmx need to go on cd to play in car mp3 capable cd player. In WMA 9 - tools options - under rip - mp3 selected but player converts to .wav's - no options for burn. Tried to drag and drop 50 mp3's from seperate folder to DVD burner desktop icon but got the screw driver blade......any suggestions? | marsurv (10929) | |
2006-08-08 01:34:00 | Put blank CD in. Go to your CD burner drive. Drag and drop .mp3 files into folder. Select "burn disc". No need to use WMP. FYI, the Rip feature is for ripping cd audio to mp3, not the other way.

2006-08-08 03:42:00 | If your DVD burner came with Nero that would be the easiest way to copy the files to the CD. Just make sure you create a data CD, not a music CD. | FoxyMX (5) | |
2006-08-08 08:35:00 | Ah no, If u have Nero, u use Nero Express, and select MP3 disc. And then add the MP3's, then burn after u add so many MP3's.
