I recently formatted my computer and installed everything back on including directx, divx ,windows media player 10 etc.

I'm running a Ati radeon 9800 running windows xp

Whenever I try to play a DVD using windows media player it says that it can't play dvd video and tells me to lower my resolution settings in control panel.I've already installed my gaphics card driver and the settings is at 32 bit 1024x768 display. If I lower to the lowest setting windows media player still pop up with that message and won't play the dvd

I've used another a program called InterVideo WinDVD7 and it plays fine. Also playing RMVB files in windows media player plays fine too

I ust can't seem to find a problem to fix this

Anyone know what is causing it?
