| 476636 | 2006-08-06 22:34:00 | Hi, I have installed the IE7 beta 3 off the latest pc world cd. Everything installed fine and the browser works but i am having lots of issues with tab browsing. Problems are as follows: 1. Every tab opens in a new window even if i right click on a link and select open in a new tab. 2. The create new tab button on IE7 toolbar doesnt exist. I have set up IE7 correctly for tab browsing in internet options and reinstalled IE7 twice. I upgraded from IE6 and had google toolbar beta 4 installed (dont know if thats an issue) I have scanned for virus, adware etc and nothing came up. I have also reset IE7 back to all defaults and still no tab browsing. If anyone has a possible solution then please let me know. Thanks. |

| 476639 | 2006-08-07 03:07:00 | Thanks for the welcome One thing I have learnt with this whole episode with IE7 is how good Opera 9 is. I installed it out of desperation and I must say...very impressive. To me Opera 9 has the best tabbed browsing functionality around. Thats my two cents worth. |
