| 476460 | 2006-08-06 07:59:00 | hey all i was just wondering are there any prgrammes that can be downloaded that will stop my laptop Dell Inspiron from going into standby mode when the lid is shut eg so i can still play music etc etc when the lid of the laptop is down any help would be appericated cheers Shaun |

| 476461 | 2006-08-06 08:20:00 | All laptops I have had have had that under Power settings in the Control Panel. There you should be able to set what action you want when closing the lid, no "programmes" should be required. |
