| 476441 | 2006-08-06 07:07:00 | I am looking for a web hosting company in Auckland which is able to provide good service and fast speed similar to iserve.co.nz. I am going to start a community website next month. I guess it would be ok to buy disk space and bank limits at the first 6 months. Then I will buy my own server. (not good idea?) Something like "trademe in 1999", :D A large traffic volume is expected and the disk space is also important because of the photo storage. :confused: Which plan from which company is good to me? cheers. |

But I am not sure about the connection speed and their support. (I contacted with openhost.co.nz last week and their response was slow.) Anyone has been with them? or heard about ? | 476446 | 2006-08-07 07:25:00 | I recommend www.webbase.co.nz, they can provide hosting and dedicated servers. They also sponsor faqf1's domain name. Webdrive are also good, they use the same datacentre in Auckland as Webbase. Connectivity shouldn't be an issue with either provider. The site I run with Webbase has just over 1,000 members and goes great. |

Do you mean it really doesn't matter for the physical location of a hosting company because they should have servers in each large cities?
