| 477290 | 2006-08-09 02:42:00 | Hi My PC has started to re-boot without warning. I have turned off auto restarts etc I have tried changing hibernate which made no difference. I have 2 x 128Mb ram PC133 and I have chnaged their positions with no real success. The PC did go for about 3 days without re-booting so must be some success. It will go for varied times so I can't say it goes for a period of time and then change. Help or thought appreciated. |

| 477294 | 2006-08-09 05:16:00 | since it's running pc133 i'd imagine it's not a very new machine possibly around 5 or more years old......i'd suggest you open the case up and take a good look insode at the capacitors......theres lots of them on the motherboard, (thats the big main circuit board that EVERYthing else is plugged into) capacitors are little cylindrical thingys....and theres plenty of them on the board.......if ANY of them are 'bulging' that'll be the problem........ | drcspy (146) | ||
