| 477163 | 2006-08-08 12:51:00 | hey, i am trying to set up a wireless network at the office. i have broguht a D-Link adsl router like the guys at pc world told me. i have 1 computer that is on windows 98 which is on all the time and the other computer is windows xp which just needs to conect to the internet now and then. when i try and set it up it says modem not detected? i am not sure if its down to the network card in the 98 computer or what. can anyone help? cheers andy |

Or are you connecting the PCs with network cable to the router? How have you configured the network settings on each PC? DHCP or static IPs? |
